Online video consumption is experiencing tremendous growth. In an August 2011 survey, 62% respondents said they watched more online/streaming TV than they did the previous year. Content owners are demanding tighter control over the security of content provided across multiple screens. Consumers’ demand for easy access to content on any screen, and content owners’ need for complete security makes operating a multiscreen video service technically complex and financially challenging. Partnering with an appropriate service provider can mitigate the technical and financial risk.
